The same thing happens on my first day back in work after a week off. I arrive at 7.30am (or normally a few minutes later than that) and by 8am I've already done a lap of the ladies floor and have an armful of new things to try on. This dress caught my eye straight away in one of these supermarket sweep strolls. I like my dresses not too long and not too fitted, in fact I don't like anything figure hugging at all, so this one was a sure-fire winner. I also subconsciously shy away from low cut tops but let's not go there today, I could go on and on about my style preferences.
One thing I hate about trousers is that no matter what, they will always be ever so slightly too long on me. These were no exception. No shoe I wore looked right apart from these Primark heels. I just loved the pattern though, I think these trousers with a bright orange vest in the summer will be just perfect. I best invest in some hemming tape before then I think.
Here's the first peek at my new Michael Kors watch that Kyle brought me for Christmas. Isn't it just so pretty! I think a watch collection might be something that might happen, although at the moment I've only got two, but I'm really eyeing up the Daniel Wellington watches. Something else I like to collect is sunglasses. Every. Damn. Year. I've already bought my first pair, only from Primark mind, but for some reason I get it into my head that I must buy them straight away even if it is bloody snowing outside!
I'm in desperate need of some new jeans. I've been living in these blue ones for about two months now since I got white paint on my black pair. I think investing in a few more decent pairs of jeans is definitely something I need to do in 2016. I've been tempted to try the ASOS Rivington jeans for a change after Lily Melrose recommended them in one of her ASOS hauls, but low and behold they're always sold out in my size.
You can tell how long ago these photos were taken, back when the leaves were still crunchy, fresh from falling off the trees. Now they're more of just a mushy mess. I picked this Zara skirt up on a hectic Sunday in Birmingham, just before we went to see One Direction, I can tell it's going to be in my wardrobe a long time. I think sometimes when I buy things I know if it's only going to be a short term love affair, which is bad really, but especially working in retail you realise how quickly things come and go. Quicker than you'd believe. I guess that's probably why I own so many black skirts and black boots, because they're always so versatile no matter the season.
